EXO是韓國S.M Entertainment 2011年12月22日亮相，2012正式推出的組合，分在中國出道活動的M隊和在韓國出道活動的K隊。EXO這個名字從意為太陽系以外的外部行星EXOPLANET壹詞中得來，蘊含了他們是從未知的世界來的新星之意。在EXO後添加代表KOREA的K在韓國開始活動，添加代表Mandarin的M在中國開始活動，並有逐步進軍全球，將EXO的音樂傳遍全世界的抱負。

EXO - 出道經過
最初的計劃是兩個分隊分別由八名韓國人和四名中國人組成，為尋找組合主打曲，SM Entertainment於2011年8月到丹麥和挪威舉行音樂夏令營活動，動員全世界五十多名作曲家，但都無功而還。
EXO於2011年12月23日0時開始發布出道預告影片和照片，逐次公開壹至兩名成員；部分成員於12月29日的SBS歌謠大典作首次正式亮相。
2012年1月30日，由EXO-M的CHEN、LUHAN；EXO-K的BAEKHYUN、D.O.演唱的數位序曲《What Is Love》通過各大音樂網站公開；
3月8日，兩隊構成透過第二首數位序曲《History》的MV公開，音源則於3月9日釋出。
正式出道前，EXO-K就已成為Calvin Klein Jeans品牌的代言人，並登上雜誌封面。
經過長達壹百日的預告期後，EXO於2012年3月31日和4月1日分別於中韓兩地召開大型新聞發布會。
正式出道2012年4月8日，EXO-K於SBS人氣歌謠正式出道；EXO-M於第十二屆音樂風雲榜頒獎典禮正式出道。
2012年5月15日，EXO-M首度正式在韓國電視上亮相，並於MBC MUSIC《Show Champion》演唱主打歌MAMA。
2012年5月20日，EXO出道之後首度合體在SBS人氣歌謠演唱主打歌MAMA。
Super Junior（韓文名：?）亦常簡稱為SJ 或 SuJu，是由SM Entertainment創始人李秀滿發掘並管理的韓國男子組合。組合於2005年9月出道時有12名成員，圭賢於2006年5月加入後***13人，成為世界上最大的男子團體。但因合約，兵役等原因，第5張新專輯將只有10名成員參與,後續曲就有8位，希澈和始源亦有參與拍攝，但沒有參與宣傳期。

整個後援團名稱: E.L.F 指Ever Lasting Friends 是隊長李特(樸正洙)為歌迷們取的。在中文中有妖精、精靈的意思，所以中國歌迷就以妖精作為後援團的名稱。
SUPER JUNIOR跟其他組合不同，他們有著亞洲明星的代表性。SUPER JUNIOR組合是從韓國各個地區以歌手、演員、笑星、作曲家、模特、MC等方面發掘的13名新人。2005年11月，SUPER JUNIOR正式開始演出活動，組合中的每個成員將展現自己最特別的才華。
組合中最特別的成員是中國人韓庚，他是通過2001年在中國大規模選拔大賽 'H.O.T. China'選出來的新人，他英俊的面容，舞蹈的天分，已經預告了亞洲未來超級明星的誕生。
出道時各個成員自己在演藝方面上已經開始活動，比如參加演出電視劇，音樂節目的主持人，各種演藝節目的嘉賓，拍廣告等，他們才剛剛出道就已經擁有很多歌迷和影迷了。 在中國和亞洲地區將舉辦以"SUPER JUNIOR"的名字命名的選拔大賽，進壹步擴大 SUPER JUNIOR 的影響力。
06年成員歷旭、藝聲、圭賢在年結成Super Junior——K.R.Y組合，為《鬟狗》演唱主題曲《只為壹個人》成功，並以《只為壹個人》單曲輯出道。
07年成員李特、希澈、強仁、銀赫、晟敏、神童以Super JuniorT（TORT）組合出道，推出單曲《來過倒》
2007年9月21日，Super Junior最新專輯《Don't don》發行，其中車禍後痊愈的圭賢也回歸隊伍，13個人的造型更是發生的很大的改變。
2008年4月中旬，其成員SuperJunior中國籍成員韓庚（隊長）為主、除始源、圭賢、東海、厲旭之外，還新加入了中國成員henry和周覓組成了SJ-M。M是普通話英文mandarin的首字母縮寫，它也表示著SJ-M將以華語樂壇為舞臺翺翔展翅的偉大抱負。SJ-M以中國大陸為首發站開展活動，並發行了首張中文專輯《迷》。
2008年5月，SuperJunior–Happy是SMEntertainment自"SJ-K.R.Y"、"SJ-T"、"SJ-M"之後的第四個組合，由李特、藝聲、強仁、神童、晟敏、恩赫六個成員組成。SJ的團員中新的壹部份組合隊伍公開。SM在30日發表說”就像他們的團名壹樣，想要以輕快明亮的音樂，帶給FANS幸福的感覺”。6月初開始販售SuperJunior–Happy的迷妳專輯，主打歌為"料理王(Cooking?Cooking!)"是壹首Dance曲，歌曲中說著想要為了女朋友做料理，而發生有趣的小故事。
