土塊和卵石的愛

"Love seekeh not itself to please,
“愛不追求自身的歡愉，
Nor for itself hath any care.
甚至完全不在乎自己。
But for another gives its ease,
愛但求讓對方自在，
And builds a heaven in hell’s despair."
建壹座天堂在對方絕望的地獄。”
So sung a little clod of clay,
壹枚小土塊如此歌唱，
Trodden with the cattle's feet.
它雖然被畜生的腳踩傷。
But a pebble of the brook,
壹塊卵石安臥在溪水中，
Warbled out these metres meet.
卻發出這樣的叮當。

To bind another to its delight.
為自己的快樂捆綁對方。
Joys in another's loss of ease,
愛樂於讓對方失去自在，

每年的七夕，每年的情人節，不應該只是同情人相聚、給情人送禮物的日子，我們也可以反思壹下自己的“愛情”哲學：在愛情中我們是想作壹枚“土塊”，還是壹顆“卵石”。
這事不搞明白，再貴重的禮物都是“然並卵”；再甜蜜的相聚，也最終會分手！
