康德墓誌銘的德文原文為：“Zwei Dinge erfuellen das Gemuet mit immer neuer und zunehmender Bewunderung und Ehrfurcht, je oefter und anhaltender sich das Nachdenken damit beschaeftigt: der bestirnte Himmel ueber mir und das moralische Gesetz in mir.”這是他所著的《實踐理性批判·結論》上開頭的第壹句。在1880年移葬時，主事者就在墓碑上刻上這段文字，從此就成為舉世聞名的“康德墓誌銘”。
它的英文版本，至少有如下的三種：
（1） "Two things fill the mind with always new and ever-increasing admiration and awe, the more often and more intensely the thinking is occupied with it - the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me."
（2）Two erringly my thinking engages itself with them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me.
（3）“Two things fill the mind with ever new and increasing wonder and awe, the oftener and the more steadily we reflect on them: the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me. ”這是北京九州出版社2007年版《英漢對照·實踐理性批判》的英文譯法，所用藍本為L. W. Beck譯的1993年版英譯本Critique Of Practical Reason。
