1．確保前座位的兩個人都記上安全帶後才可以啟動車。調整左右外側視鏡，後視鏡，教官讓妳按喇叭丶車頭燈丶高燈丶左轉燈丶右轉彎燈丶剎車丶雨刷丶Emergency Flashers丶除霧丶手勢（左轉丶右轉丶停車）。測試“平行停車”，倒車控車，90度倒轉彎車，緊急剎車；
2．上路考試，左轉，過十字路口丶轉右轉丶斜坡停車丶車速控制丶路邊停車等等。
3．註意事項：看到停車路標時候壹定要停穩，換路線等。動作壹定要明顯，左看右看前後看，要考官看到妳的明顯動作。要註意小細節，不妨把工作做的誇張些，比如上車是否系安全帶，發動車時是否環顧了四周，看了後視鏡，轉彎是否打轉彎燈，見到行人是否遠遠就剎車。
4．通過考試，當天可以拿駕照，不用帶照片，在DMV拍照即時制作駕照，Learner Permit同時被收回。
二 路考註意事項：
1.坐上車後，先系好安全帶。
2.考官會要求妳把車鑰匙轉到ON，但是不啟動車，檢查妳的剎車丶轉向燈丶雨刷丶除霧器丶大燈丶喇叭等。如果妳的車上有的部件不能正常工作的話，考官是不會讓妳路考的。
3.路考前，把座位調大點空間，美國人比較胖，讓考官坐得舒服了，考試時也會心情好些。考官坐上車後，等他發指令妳再啟動車。
4.Stop sign壹定要停滿三秒。遇到紅燈壹定要停，如果妳在紅燈要右轉，壹定要先full stop了，再逐漸向前挪動車子，挑合適的機會轉彎。看見行人壹定要讓。
5.過四叉路口壹定要動作誇張地左右張望壹下（當然也是真的要看清楚壹些），不然考官會認為妳沒有註意路況，會扣分的。
6.右轉時壹定要以明顯動作回頭過肩看右後方，不然會被扣分的。
7.絕對不能超速，不然立馬就fail了。
8.路邊停車時，壹定要打右轉燈。從路邊出來時，壹定要打左轉燈。換道丶上高速merge主車流都要打轉向燈。下高速也要打右轉燈，否則都會扣分的。
9.在自己不確定可以安全換道時，就不要勉強，考官還是要命的，不會勉強妳的，最多給妳換條路線。
10.路邊停車時，如果在有坡度的路上，要註意輪子的方向。
11.任何時候都不要和有行路權的車搶道，就算妳搶成功了，考官也會認為妳是危險駕駛，把妳fail掉的。
12.考前最好去DMV門口跟幾輛考試的車，摸摸路線，踩踩點，考試時就會順利許多。
13.對於考官的指令如果沒有聽清楚，可以再問壹遍確認壹下，千萬不要緊張。有壹個笑話，有壹人很緊張，考官讓他left turn，他怕自己沒聽清楚，就問“left turn?”，考官答曰“Right.”此人壹撥方向盤就右轉去了，於是fail掉了。
14.開車的時候盡量開得平滑壹些，按照路標速度開，不要超速，也不能太慢，太慢是阻礙交通，也會fail掉的。剎車不要急剎，這樣考官坐得舒服，壹些小毛病也就讓妳混過去了。
15. 紅燈時，右轉要完全停，安全情況下可以轉。
